and Fees & Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost during the school year?
The cost is only $55.00 per week for
AFTER-SCHOOL care. (This fee
includes snacks as well as arts and
crafts supplies.) There is a sibling discount and yes, we do
have financial aid and scholarships available for those that qualify. Sliding
scale for low income also available. If you want
before-school care, it is available at select
locations and only an additional $5.00 per
week. If you want BEFORE-SCHOOL ONLY, it is $30.00 per week.
($60.00 per week for mornings and
afternoons where mornings are available.)
How much does it cost for summer care or
full-day weeks?
The cost is only $80.00 per week for full-day
weeks or summer care. Open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. -6:00
p.m.
Is there a registration fee for the school year
services?
Yes. There is a
$25.00 non-refundable registration fee.
(Lakeland
Montessori Schoolhouse is a $20.00 registration
fee)
Is there a registration fee for summer care?
Yes. There is a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee.
How do I enroll my child?
Download the enrollment forms from this site or stop by the
Campus KidCare room at your child's school and ask for an enrollment
packet. Complete the
forms, have the Medical Authorization Form notarized, attach a check for $25.00 per child for the registration fee and
drop the completed and notarized forms back off at the
KidCare room or
mail it to: SSYFS Campus KidCare Office, 801 W. Beacon Road, Lakeland, FL
33803. *All required forms and first week
tuition is due in advance
prior to your child's first day of attendance. (Lakeland Montessori Schoolhouse is
a $20.00 registration fee per child.)
Who can enroll
in SSYFS Campus KidCare?
You may
enroll your child in Campus KidCare if:

He or she is enrolled in a Polk County elementary
school.

this kind of supervised activity program.
What are the
Hours and Holiday Schedule?
Afternoon hours are from the time school lets
out until 6:00pm Campus KidCare has morning care at most
schools. Where offered, the morning times are from 6:30am until
8:00am or when school takes in each morning. Call us for more information (863)686-5116.
Most school holidays at selected sites, KidCare is
open for full-day care 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

calendar for dates
of School Holidays and days that KidCare will be closed
or open for full-day care.
Payment
Payment
is due the first day of each week that SSYFS Campus KidCare is
open. This fee is a weekly charge
and must be paid in advance each week your child is enrolled.
Late Payment Fee
There
is an extra $5.00 late fee added to your payment
for each day late if payment is not paid on the
first day of the week by 6:00pm
After Hours
Late
Fee
There is a late fee of $1.00 per minute
per child after 6:00pm if you are late picking up your child. We have a phone
number you can call in case of emergency, but
repeated tardiness in pick-up can result in being asked to withdraw from
the program. Failure to pick up your child will result in notification of
the proper
authorities.
Pick-Up and Transportation Policy
You are responsible for
transportation to and from Campus KidCare sites on
in service days and holidays. We will
not allow your child to walk or ride his/her bike home or leave the
campus without an authorized person over the age
of 18 from your notarized pick-up list form.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for Campus KidCare is $25.00 for
the school year. SSYFS Campus KidCare fees
work on a sliding scale, based on the financial
situation and size of your family.
(Lakeland Montessori Schoolhouse
is a $20.00 registration fee)
We
want your children to have school-age child care,
and we'll work with you. Just ask.
Qualification information for these special programs is available. Contact
your Campus KidCare provider for
details on program costs.
Summer programs are available at
select sites. See your site manager for locations and
prices.
Rules of Campus KidCare
1. Children
must report to the designated Campus KidCare site
immediately upon school dismissal. It is the parents' responsibility to
notify Campus KidCare if your child will be absent from Campus KidCare
for any reason.
2. When you
need us, you can find us. Just call the Campus KidCare
program phone, send a written message
with your child or leave a message with the school office regarding
your child.
3. We'll ask you to sign permission slips for field
trips off campus.
4. Sign In and Out Policy: It is the responsibility of the parent or
guardian bringing the child to the center or picking the child up from
the center to sign in and sign out on the sign in/sign out form. Full
signatures are required, no initials
or nick names can be accepted. Persons
authorized to pick up my child other
than the above parent or guardians: (Only those persons with a white pickup card and/or listed will be
able to pick up your child.) (Children cannot be released to persons under
16 years of age.) List as many
possible names and remember if you have more than one
job you should list them all.
If they
have cell phones please list those numbers. If you or any of your emergency people change
jobs or phone numbers we need to be notified immediately of the change so
that the child's file can be
updated.
5. Prepayment
is necessary to determine the need for the program
during Winter Holidays, Spring Break and other special occasions.
6. Liability: Campus
KidCare will not be liable for any child who leaves Campus KidCare to attend
any other activity program, either on or off campus, from the time of check out to check back in. When any child leaves Campus KidCare to attend any other function that child will not be the responsibility of Campus KidCare until that child
has been officially checked back in with the site manager. KidCare is not
liable until the child is checked in.
7. Absences: Please
notify Campus KidCare in the event your child will
be absent or other pick up arrangements are made
on the days when this change is in effect.
This will help us in accounting for the children
upon roll call.
